New opportunity within a busy Trade Finance Operations team at a growing, international bank. This role would be of interest to individuals looking for an opportunity to develop Trade Finance product knowledge with genuine long-term progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform processing and operational tasks relating to import and export Trade Finance documentation
  • Reviewing physical contracts/documentation to confirm their acceptability with internal and regulatory standards
  • L/C and Guarantee advising, checking and issuance
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient resolution for LC matters

Key requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably obtained within an international Trade Finance bank
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit (import, export, stand-by) and Guarantees, preferably CDCS/CSDG/CITF certified
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UCP600/ISBP and URDG758 rules and regulations
  • IT literate and advanced working knowledge of Microsoft packages

The successful incumbent will have experience working with a Trade Finance back office team and will understand how to work quickly and efficiently within a dynamic team environment.
