AIG are hiring for a Business Development Consultant to attain personal premium revenue target through pro-active sales methods.
Key responsibilities will be –
•Oversee all aspects of sales pipeline management within a portfolio of allotted specialist broker relationships and geographic regions. This will include:
•Liaising externally with brokers and clients to ensure deal requirements are fully understood.
•Working internally with structuring and risk functions to ensure competitive terms are offered.
•Presenting NBIs, managing follow up queries and conducting final negotiations.
•Drive submission flow through educational initiatives including team presentations and relationship building by attending social events.
•Develop alternative distribution channels via non specialist broker relationship initiatives and AIG Distribution team.
•Drive sales opportunities across all AIG TC products (XOL, T+, SCF, TF).
•Develop direct sales opportunities through:
•Following up on inbound enquiries
•Social media thought leadership content.
•Ensure compliance with AIG underwriting standards, credit procedures and PC guidelines
Required Candidate Skills & Experience:
•Sales experience background with a proven track record preferred.
•Have a thorough understanding of the trade credit marketplace is preferred.
•Expertise in trade credit underwriting being beneficial but not a requirement.
•Be results driven and target orientated.
•Highly motivated and self-driven.
•Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proficiency in Salesforce preferred.
