Reporting to the Operations Manager, we are looking for an individual who can help with:
• On-boarding and verifying export transactions.
• Setting up and checking documentation (our paperwork and the underlying shipping documentation).
• Applying for LCs and administering them.
• Recording and managing trades through our in-house systems.
PrimaDollar was set up in 2015 and started trading at the end of 2016. Now, 15 months later, our business is growing very quickly.
We offer trade finance solutions for emerging market exporters who sell to creditworthy international buyers. This includes arranging letters of credit, providing pre-shipment guarantees, making sight payments against shipping documents and then collecting from the international buyer later at our risk. We work with buyers across the US, S America, Middle East, Europe, Australia and Far East.
Our new business is driven by in our local sales teams in Bangladesh and Pakistan, our referrer network across India and our digital marketing platform. New clients and new trades are arriving daily, and we are looking for individuals who are interested in working in a dynamic and exciting working environment. PrimaDollar is backed by an international investor group with deep resources. Our business is funded by major US money-market funds and European banks.
The right individual will have a good understanding of export/ import documentation, Incoterms 2010, UCP600 and a reasonable amount of experience (two years +) in international logistics.
The role requires keen attention to detail, working as part of a team that aims to process and manage a variety of international export trades accurately and safely. Languages would be a plus.
