Trafigura gets CFO from BNP's commodity team

Trafigura has hired Christophe Salmon as chief financial officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).

Salmon joins the commodity trader from BNP Paribas, where he led the commodity finance activity in the Emea region since 2001. Before that, he spent five years in the bank’s internal audit department.

Salmon started his career as a credit officer for insurance company Euler Hermes.
