Milbank hires LatAm securities partner
Law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy has hired Carlos Albarracín as a member of its global securities group.
Albarracín will handle a lot of Milbank’s Mexican transactions, including financings in energy and petrochemicals, as well as large restructuring matters.
He joins the firm from Chadbroune & Parke, where he worked as a partner on debt and equity offerings, mergers/acquisitions and bank and project financings and restructurings with a Latin American focus.
Milbank partner Marcelo Mottesi, head of the global securities practice, says: “It has been a very strong year for us in Mexico and the pipeline continues to be healthy. Carlos will lead deals throughout the region, in Colombia and Peru particularly, and we look to him to further drive our growth in Mexico.”
