Khan Bank hires CEO

Mongolia’s Khan Bank has appointed Norihiko Kato as CEO.

Kato has served as the bank’s acting CEO since November 2011 and was previously an advisor to Khan Bank’s former wholesale banking managing director.

Kato has worked in the industry for 28 years. Before joining Khan Bank, he worked at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in the Middle East, the Netherlands, the US and Japan.
