Last Updated May 15, 2012

HSBC Malta has made two appointments in its international commercial banking team.

The bank has appointed Gaetano Sammut as head of trade and receivables finance. Sammut joined HSBC Malta in 1977, specialising in trade services, credit management and credit and risk. He was most recently head of trade and supply chain, responsible for financing international trade.

Additionally, Gordon Scicluna takes the role of senior international banking manager and head of payments and cash management. He has more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry, and was most recently HSBC Malta’s senior manager for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and senior receivables finance manager.
