StanChart appoints transaction banking head

Standard Chartered has hired Richard Jaggard as head of transaction banking for Europe.

Based in London, Jaggard is responsible for the bank’s cash management, trade finance and securities services in Europe.

With more than 25 years of experience in the financial markets, Jaggard previously worked at HSBC’s Hong Kong office as head of sales for global payments and cash management, Asia Pacific.

Jiten Arora, Standard Chartered’s global head of sales says: “Richard’s background and experience will play a key role in our continued focus on providing value-added solutions which deliver efficient working capital management for our clients as they expand in developing markets.”
