Trade Technologies opens Vancouver office

Trade documentation company Trade Technologies has set up a new sales office in Vancouver due to the dramatic increase of Canadian commodity exports to Asia.

Winney Chow will become Trade Technologies’ sales director of the Vancouver office. With over 15 years of experience in the trade finance, insurance and export industries, Chow was previously manager of trade finance for TD Securities. Before that, she served as the business development manager at Export Development Canada.

“Canadian commodity exports to Asia have dramatically increased over the last two years and the long distances between many Canadian exporters and their bank offices make our automated trade documentation solution extremely valuable for accelerating payment and reducing risk,” says Kirk Lundburg, Trade Technologies CEO.

Trade Technologies has offices in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Canada, Chicago, Hong Kong, Houston, Istanbul, London, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.

The company provides global exporters, freight forwarders and global trade banks with internet-based software solutions and document preparation services that streamline international trade payment processes and documentation.
