BofAML appoints two GTS heads

Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BofAML) global transaction services (GTS) has appointed Bill Borden as managing director and head of North America product solutions and Dennis Sweeney as managing director and treasury solutions executive.

Borden will manage the North America product sales teams across global corporate banking, global commercial banking and business banking. He joins the bank from Citigroup, where he managed the team focused on developing cash management and securities fund services relationships with US state and local governments.

Sweeney will provide senior finance executives at BofAML’s largest global clients with advice and trends related to their treasury platforms. He previously worked at General Electric for 20 years, most recently as deputy treasurer, where he encouraged the opening of the Swift network to corporate treasury users.

Based in New York, both Borden and Sweeney will take on their new positions in September.
