  • US Ex-Im names new senior vice-president

Charles Tansey has taken the role of senior vice-president for small business at the Export-Import Bank of the United States (US Ex-Im).
Tansey joins the bank after a decade of leadership experience with NeighborWorks America (NWA), a non-partisan, Congressionally-chartered and funded non-profit organisation responsible for developing partnerships with the private sector for building wealth in low-income communities.

Before joining NWA, he worked as associate deputy administrator at the Small Business Administration, as well as holding numerous positions in the banking industry.

Fred Hochberg, US Ex-Im chairman and president, comments: “As the bank continues its mission to support and create American jobs, Charles will be [a] powerful advocate of American small business exporters.”
