  • Doha Bank hires two industry veterans

Qatar’s Doha Bank has hired Christian Fellner and Reginald King to its senior team.

Fellner has been appointed as the head of international banking, where he will use his 20 years of experience in trade finance, product management, syndicated loans and corporate banking to grow the bank’s international business.

Fellner worked most recently at Germany’s Dresdner Bank, where he served as managing director and co-head of international products and financial institutions.

Reginald King joins the bank as head of risk management, responsible for managing the bank’s credit, operational, financial and market risk.

King has over worked in enterprise risk management for over 25 years and served in a number of multinational banks and financial institutions, including the Central Bank of the UAE.

Raghavan Seetharaman, chief executive officer at Doha Bank, says: “Both Fellner and King will boost our efforts to provide the best possible banking solutions to our customers. The appointments are in tune with our vision for future growth of the bank and with their combined experience we are confident of marking our presence in the international markets as well as strengthening our risk management team.”
