Citi has promoted Amol Gupte to Citi transaction services (CTS) head for the Asia Pacific region.
Based in Hong Kong, Gupte will report to Rodrigo Zorrilla, Citi’s chief operating officer for Asia Pacific, and Francesco Vanni d’Archirafi, chief executive officer for CTS.
Gupte was previously head of Citi’s treasury and trade solutions for the North America region. Before this, he held numerous positions in CTS, including head of cash management for North America, head of payments for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and head of cash management for Western Europe.
Amol will succeed Anthony Nappi, who has recently been promoted to chief administrative officer for Asia Pacific.
