Amsterdam Trade Bank (ATB) has signed a 10-year licence for Misys BankFusion Equation software, the latest version of Misys’ core banking system.
Mysis promise that the new system, which has been developed into a service-orientated architecture (SOA) environment, will reduce manual input and give the bank better security, risk management capabilities and the flexibility to scale the business rapidly.
The bank has been a long-term user of Misys’ previous system, called Mysis Equation.
ATB, the fully-owned subsidiary of Alfa Bank, is one of the largest Russian private financial-industrial conglomerates in the world, providing lending to large corporations in Russia and other countries, fuelled by its internet savings scheme in Netherlands and Germany.
The bank provides both standard and tailor-made products in Russia-related trade and project finance, corporate banking and international money transfers.
Henry te Beest, CFO and managing director at ATB, says: “BankFusion Equation will bring us tangible benefits in the way we run our business and bring new products to the market. We will be able to reduce our operating costs, lower operational risk and tighten security at the same time.”
