Flash branches out in Brazil

Last Updated April 20, 2010

Supply chain solutions provider Flash Global Logistics (Flash) has expanded its Brazil operations.

The development includes over 20 new forward stocking locations, a distribution centre, command centre and increased capabilities as a legal entity for importing and exporting.

The new facilities are designed to increase speed and efficiency of shipments in emerging markets, as Jim van Leenen, chief executive officer and president of Flash, comments: “Flash has invested in Brazil to out-service the competition, guaranteeing a reduction in cycle time into and out of Brazil beyond the perceived standards.

“For companies requiring innovation, speed and an end-to-end solution from import through storage, shipment and reverse logistics in Brazil, Flash is positioned to assist companies of many sizes across various industries to reach their customers and end users.”
