China Systems partners up with Export Entreprises

Last Updated September 30, 2009

Trade processing solutions company China Systems has partnered up with Export Entreprises, a provider of online information on international trade.

China Systems will be promoting Export Entreprises’ global trade content platform either as a standalone solution or as a fully integrated component of its SOA-compliant, J2EE-based corporate trade portal solution, Customer Enterprise. This will allow banks to provide a single sign on-based ‘one stop shop’ for corporates’ international trade services, as well as support seamless navigation between transactional banking and trade content features.

According to China Systems, the integrated solution is unique as it combines a number of services that until today had only been offered by separate vendors. The solution provides corporates with the full range of international transactional banking functionality and the ability to contact the bank to get information on trade finance services – with the added facility of having online access to useful trade content features such as identification of shipping documents, calculation of customs duties, denied party screening, and the tracing of business counterparts’ activity through customs records.

“We are extremely happy to have concluded this agreement with China Systems as it will allow both our companies to keep focussing on our core businesses while providing a direct incremental benefit and value to our customers. The synergies between our solutions are obvious and fully transparent to the corporate end user, while providing banks with an integrated offering for trade content, services and operations,” comments Etienne Vauchez, managing director of Export Entreprises.

“Teaming up with Export Entreprises is very exciting for us and our customers. Bundling trade transaction processing, trade services and content into a single window solution is a no-brainer.

“During trade processing, corporates may require access to the trade content platform, whether they are looking for country trading profiles, counterparts, trade compliance or customs information,” comments Joel Schrevens, solutions director of China Systems.

“Finding answers to trade-related questions on the trade content platform may lead to more trade transactions being processed via the bank’s trade portal so the relationship between our two offerings can be considered to be perfectly symbiotic,” he adds.

Export Entreprises’ global trade content platform is a comprehensive resource for corporates with global operations, providing them with resources such as detailed country profiles on how to buy, sell, invest or operate a business in 185 countries, an extensive library of market surveys, various tools to find counterparts, trade compliance databases, customs calculators, and other information. Export Entreprises serves a significant number of banks globally, with a strong client base in Europe and the Mediterranean.
