ProgressSoft to resell S1 trade finance products

Last Updated November 12, 2009

ProgressSoft Corporation, a provider of real-time payment solutions is set to resell the S1 corporate banking and S1 trade finance solutions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions.

S1 has already implemented its solutions at a number of major global banks and is now looking to expand into the MENA regions.

"For S1, the Middle East and North Africa regions are strategic to the company's vision of providing tailored banking services to globally-focused financial institutions," explains Jan Kruger, S1 division president.

"Partners like ProgressSoft are critical to the success of this vision and together we can deliver to these institutions, in a very regionally relevant way, innovative front office banking and payments solutions."

Michael Wakileh, CEO of ProgressSoft, adds: "Working in collaboration with S1, ProgressSoft is now able to further enrich its loyal clientele and growing prospects with the latest corporate banking and trade finance solutions."

An immediate result of partnership between the two firms is a forthcoming corporate banking road show aimed at financial institutions in the MENA region. The show is taking place on November 16, in Doha, Qatar, and attendees will get a chance to see live demonstrations of S1 corporate banking and S1 trade finance solutions.
