ZKB signs up for China Systems solution

Last Updated September 10, 2008

Zurcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) has purchased China Systems’ J2EE trade finance solution Eximbills Enterprise. This is a global standard installed by many international banks to support their trade services processing requirements.

It combines a rapid application development toolkit with a flexible base business model, and provides support for traditional trade, open account, supply chain finance and payments operations.

"China Systems is extremely proud to add the AAA-rated ZKB to our rapidly expanding list of European customers - this highlights Eximbills’ powerful combination of proven maturity and flexibility,” comments Angus Sutherland, regional sales director for China Systems.

ZKB is the largest cantonal bank and the leading financial services provider in the greater Zurich area, with overall assets of over CHF100bn, and has both an Standard and Poor’s and Moody's 'AAA' Rating.

This deal follows news in July that the Eximbills Enterprise was granted Swift Ready TSU label for 2008, making it the first back-office solution to be awarded this label.
