UniCredit strengthens project and SCF syndication team

Last Updated May 29, 2008
Ralf Ernst has joined UniCredit Group as a director of the project and structured commodity finance loan syndication team, in response to increased deal opportunities in the wider project finance market.

Ernst, who will be based in Munich, was previously a member of West LB's syndication team in Duesseldorf. He has extensive experience in the infrastructure, energy, commodity and transportation sectors and has been involved in a number of transactions in central Europe over the last five years.

"Ralf joining the team is a great boost to our coverage of the many new opportunities opening up to the UniCredit Group in and around our core markets. UniCredit Group's project and commodity finance franchise has grown steadily in recent years and was recently reorganised along global industry lines to provide better coverage of client business needs, " comments Andrew Griffiths, head of the project and structured commodity finance loan syndication team.
