Export Development Canada (EDC), Canada's export credit agency, has appointed Ajit Someshwar to its board of directors.
Someshwar, currently president and chief executive officer of CSI Consulting, brings experience in information technology and risk management and a commitment to promoting Indo-Canada links to the role. He has previously served as president of the Indo-Canada chamber of commerce.
"Mr. Someshwar brings important experience in a number of fields to the board of directors and will make a key contribution to EDC's future,” comments David Emerson, minister of international trade.
