Skadden opens in Sao Paulo

Law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom has opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
It is the company's first office in Latin America.

The company's Latin American practice has grown significantly across a range of industries, and in areas such as M&A, corporate finance, private equity, banking, project finance and restructuring.

Heading up the office is Jonathan Bisgaier, a corporate partner as well being fluent in Portuguese. He will be working with Paul Schnell, the head of the firm’s Latin America practice based in New York.
