Retirement for Thales UK director

Robert Scallon, trade finance director at Thales UK, has retired following a long and successful career in the banking industry and 10 years at Thales.

Scallon will remain involved in his extracurricular activities with the London Countertrade Roundtable and the British Exporters' Association.

Guillaume Simonnet has taken over the running of Scallon's team. However he will retain his title of vice-president, structured export and trade finance.

Thales is an international electronics and systems company, working in the defence, aerospace and security markets. The UK is the company’s second-largest country of operation.
