Priorbank in Belarus is planning to attract foreign credit facilities for terms of three years in the second half of 2008.
As yet it is not known whether these facilities will be in the form of syndicated loans or placement of the bank's bonds in foreign markets.
Sergei Kostyuchenko has been quoted in local press saying: "Until recently we could not issue bonds as Belarus had no sovereign credit rating. Now we have such an opportunity.”
Raiffeisenbank is one of the banks" potentially involved in any forthcoming deal.
