Kazkommertsbank repays syndicated loan

Kazkommertsbank in Kazakhstan has repaid the outstanding US$450mn on its syndicated loan. The loan was agreed in August 2006, for a total of US$850mn and in August 2007 the bank made a partial repayment of US$400mn. Citi, Deutsche Bank, ING and Mizuho Bank were lead arrangers on the loan. Proceeds were used to finance import-export transactions of Kazkommertsbank's clients.
