JPMorgan has won four awards of excellence from the Asian Banker's leadership achievement awards. The awards were handed out at a ceremony held in Hanoi in conjunction with The Asian Banker Summit.
Asif Raza, Singapore-based managing director and Asia Pacific head of trade and logistics management for JPMorgan Treasury Services, won two of these awards. One was awarded in recognition of his leadership of the Asia Pacific trade finance team. He was also named the 'promising young banker" in the region, an award that recognises the next generation of banking leaders under the age of 40.
Raza is a member of GTR’s editorial board, and GTR would like to congratulate Raza on his awards.
Jamie Dimon, chairman of the board and chief executive officer, was recognised for the strategic leadership and direction he provided the firm. Dimon is based in New York.
Gaby Abdelnour, Hong Kong-based Asia Pacific chairman and chief executive officer for JPMorgan, won his award for the firm’s improved performance following significant changes made to the corporate and investment banking operations in the region.
