Deutsche has appointed David Conroy as managing director and Americas head of trade finance and cash management corporates for its global transaction banking (GTB) business area.
Conroy will be based in New York, and report to GTB's Marilyn Spearing, global head of trade finance and cash management corporates.
He brings to the new role over 20 years of transaction banking experience, and has spent the last eight years in senior management roles across cash, trade and relationship management with Citibank global transaction services.
Before joining Citi, he held a number of transaction banking roles at Standard Chartered and JPMorgan Chase.
"The Americas is an important pillar of our global approach and we are committed to making the necessary investment of financial and human capital to continue our success in this region,” comments Spearing.
“David Conroy is a prominent transaction banking specialist who offers the expertise and vision to continue to move our Americas cash and trade presence to the next level,” she adds.
