Scipion Capital, a hedge fund manager solely focused on Africa, is launching its third fund, the Scipion Alpha Seeker Fund, in April.
The company's existing funds invest in commodity trade finance and asset-based finance, with the new fund focusing on listed equities and IPO opportunities across Africa, excluding Egypt and South Africa.
The asset allocation of this fund will target sectors of the economy showing the most potential for growth, particularly within telecoms, beverage companies and finance sector.
