NBAD Private Bank goes live with Credoc

Last Updated July 01, 2008

NBAD Private Bank in Switzerland has gone live with Credoc software to support its developing trade finance operations.
The software package has been provided by MIT, an independent Swiss company specialising in the development of trade finance software.

Credoc is being integrated into the bank’s IT operation services that are outsourced to B-Source, a Swiss provider of business process outsourcing.

Urs Ruppli, chief operating officer at NBAD, comments: “We were looking for a highly user-friendly software that we could implement in a very short timeframe. CREDOC proved to be an answer to both issues.

“Indeed, whatever transactions our users perform in the system, they always handle them using the same generic process, which makes their life much easier. Furthermore, the system went live in less than three months.”

Paul Cohen Dumani, general manager at MIT, adds: “We are delighted to work with NBAD, and are more than confident our technology will be a key element in helping the bank develop its trade finance business in Switzerland.”

NBAD Private Bank is an independent and wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Bank of Abu Dhabi Group.
