DF Deutsche Forfait expands UK operations

Last Updated January 25, 2008

DF Deutsche Forfait (DFAG) has taken over the activities of Aon Forfaiting and has opened a London branch.

The new office is headed up by Ray Webb, as managing director and Martin Betts as director, both were previously working at Aon.
Webb was based at Aon for eleven years and Betts worked at the company for three and half years.
DFAG is expecting the London-based operations to open up new business opportunities in the UK, a particularly attractive market for forfaiters due to the large number of export-orientated companies. DFAG has been rapidly expanding its business since its IPO in May 2007.  (Click here to read more about DFAG's activities in GTR Nov/Dec 2007)

DF Deutsche Forfait is also looking to expand its business in Pakistan, and is set to provide export finance products for small and medium-sized exporters.
