Chadbourne & Parke appoints five new counsel

Law firm Chadbourne & Parke has hired five new counsel to its New York and Moscow offices, with their expertise including experience in corporate and project finance.

Stefan Unna has also been appointed a partner in the project finance practice in London.

Unna's experience has included advising project lenders and developers in the development and financing of power and energy infrastructure projects around the world, including Jordan, Nigeria, Pakistan and Uganda.

His work includes the drafting of EPC contracts, power purchase agreements and fuel supply agreements. He has also worked with multilateral institutions and export credit development agencies.

New counsel member Dmitry Gubarev is joining the Moscow office in the corporate and project finance practices.

He specialises in matters relating to finance and banking law and capital market transactions, including structured finance, project finance and derivatives. His work with Chadbourne has included advising multilateral lenders, Russian and western banks and companies on securitisations, syndicated loans and project finance transactions.

Shane de Burca is joining the New York office in the corporate and insurance practices. He will advise domestic and foreign clients in corporate and securities matters.

Douglas Deutsch will also be joining the New York office in the bankruptcy and financial restructuring practise.

Julia Romanova has been named as counsel in the litigation, arbitration and bankruptcy practices.

Andrew Rosenblatt is to work in the New York office in the bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice.
