Supply chain manager Noble Group has appointed Thomas Daetwyler as regional director of grain, Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Daetwyler will manage the company's grain and oilseeds operations across Asia, including China, India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
The expanding grain division includes crushing plants and storage facilities across Asia and the Middle East, as well as port facilities in South America.
Daetwyler joined Noble in August 2004, and was previously managing director for grain in Brazil and China. He also has over 30-years of experience in grain and oilseeds origination, processing and physical trading.
