International law firm Clyde & Co has opened its new offices in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC). The premises will become the centre of the firm's activities in Qatar.
The opening was marked with an official reception hosted at the British Embassy at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Doha in February.

The Doha-based team consist of eight lawyers offering a full range of legal disciplines in both Arabic and English languages. Partner David Salt heads up the team. A further five lawyers are also scheduled to join the office in the coming year.
Commenting on the new office, Salt remarks: "It is particularly exciting to be at the forefront of policy development in the world's fastest growing developed economy and dealing with challenges and opportunities this work entails.
“Qatar has become a serious attraction for many international companies eager to take advantage of the business potential here and, by establishing a presence in the QFC, Clyde & Co is perfectly placed to provide a premium commercial service to clients in Qatar and across the region.”
