ATI's Pladet to join Asian Development Bank

Last Updated February 15, 2008

Roland Pladet is set to leave the African Trade and Insurance Agency (ATI), and will be joining the Asian Development Bank, based in Manila.

His new role will be within the office of co-financing operations as a senior guarantees and syndications specialist. He will be taking up the position on May 5, 2008.

With effect from February 12, he will no longer be working as ATI's chief underwriting officer. However, he will continue to serve his notice with ATI acting as senior advisor to Peter Jones, chief executive officer at ATI.

Until a replacement for Pladet has been hired, one of ATI's senior underwriters, Nyang 'ate Makhulo, has been appointed as acting chief underwriting officer.
