Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has made 45 promotions globally, including the appointment of two new trade finance partners in London and Hong Kong.

Andrew Wood, based in London, has been with Norton Rose Fulbright since 2003. He specialises in trade and commodity finance, including pre-export and pre-payment finance, ownership finance and borrowing base, inventory and receivables transactions and commodity sale and purchase arrangements.

David Milligan joined the company in 2005 and transferred from London to Hong Kong in 2011. He advises banks and borrowers on a wide range of financings, with a focus on trade and structured trade finance, export credit finance and secured and unsecured syndicated lending. Milligan has worked on cross-border financing transactions in many jurisdictions across Asia, including China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, India and Bangladesh.

Commenting on the promotions, which include 41 for partner and four for director, Peter Martyr, global chief executive, says: “These promotions underline our ongoing investment and commitment to our industry strengths and practice areas. As we continue to grow globally these individuals will further support our clients and our own global ambitions.”
