BNY Mellon has appointed Arnon Goldstein as head of sales and relationship management, treasury services, for Asia Pacific.

Succeeding Frederick DiCocco, who has been named head of market management within the bank’s treasury services business, Goldstein will be based in Singapore and report to Alan Verschoyle-King, executive vice-president and global head of sales and relationship management, treasury services.

Goldstein has over 18 years of experience at BNY Mellon, having worked in transaction banking and client relationship management positions in New York, Shanghai and Singapore. He was involved in the opening of the bank’s Shanghai branch, and its credit underwriting operation in Singapore.

Goldstein also serves on the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade’s (BAFT) Asia Pacific council.

“Treasury services serves as the foundation for many of our financial institution and corporate relationships. That’s particularly true in Asia, where our strengths in global payments, trade finance and cash and liquidity management are important elements in sustaining BNY Mellon’s growth momentum in the region. With his extensive industry and regional experience, Arnon is ideally suited to lead our region’s treasury services group,” says the bank’s Asia Pacific chairman, Steve Lackey.
