Stella Choe has been named head of corporate banking for Australia and New Zealand at Citi.

She will report to Tony Osmond, who heads corporate and investment banking for the two countries, and Gerry Keefe, who heads up Citi’s Asia Pacific corporate banking operation.

Most recently, Choe was head of financial institutions for Australia with the bank, a role she will continue to fill alongside her new responsibilities. She joined Citi from HSBC in 2014, where she was a managing director for financial institutions in Hong Kong.

She spent 2005 to 2008 working for Morgan Stanley in London, as executive director for European leveraged and acquisition finance syndications. Prior to this, she worked for JP Morgan in New York for six years. Choe takes over from Shane Taylor, who is retiring.
