Exporta Publishing & Events Ltd is the leading publisher of trade, commodity and export finance publication Global Trade Review-GTR and the manager of related specialised events all over the world (currently around 20). We have built an unrivalled position in our field over five years of growth and we are planning ahead for the next five years of expansion, with office launches in Dubai and Singapore due for 2008-09. This coincides with the launch of a new corporate finance magazine early next year.

As part of our expansion we are looking for dedicated, hard-working staff to join our team. We have the following opening:

Senior Events Producer – financial (events) experience necessary

You will be responsible for creating the trade and export finance and risk-related conference programmes at Exporta – for some major events each year (Middle East/Dubai; Sub-Saharan Africa/Cape Town & London; India/Mumbai; China/Shanghai; Turkey/Istanbul, etc) as well as smaller conferences. You will liaise with conference sponsors and speakers for input and ideas but need to formulate your own brochure/speaker ideas and angles. This will be in close co-operation with the GTR editorial team. You must have financial/legal knowledge or experience or have carried out a similar role for a leading events company elsewhere.
